In Ayurveda, there’s a delicious and nourishing blend called the Ojas Drink.
It strengthens the immune system, builds healthy blood, rejuvenates body tissues, and fills you with energy and vitality.
How to Make It?
Add the following ingredients to a blender:
10–15 soaked and peeled almonds
1 cup warm water
1–2 dates or figs
A pinch each of saffron, cardamom, rose petals, and vanilla
2 teaspoons honey
Blend everything well until smooth, and enjoy this revitalizing drink a few times a week as a snack.
If you’d like to make this blend richer and more nourishing, replace the cup of warm water with a cup of warm milk. Just keep in mind that the combination of milk and almonds should be (consumed on an empty stomach ideally at night before sleep).
