Digestive tea calms down Vata and Kapha and kindles the Agni!
Use this tea instead of coffee, Nescafé, black tea or green tea! Not only does it help your digestion; it helps you to burn fat and lose weight. In addition, it does not have the numerous side effects that caffeinated beverages have!
1 Part of Fennel Seeds
1 Part of Cumin
1 Part of Cardamom
1/2 P Part of Rose
1/2 Part of Coriander
***First mix these herbs and spices listed above (the whole seeds or herbs and not the powder form) with the specified proportions and add 1 tsp of this mixture to a cup of hot water.
***You can add one teaspoon lemon or lime juice + one teaspoon honey + a pinch of rock salt + a pinch of nutmeg as well.
***From 2 hours after your meal have one-cup digestive tea or digestive Takrum every hour until you feel hungry again.
***Do not eat any snacks or fruits until the real feeling of hunger returns (If your food contains animal protein, it usually needs five-six hours to get digested; if not, your food usually needs three-four hours to get digested)!
