Did you know that pomegranate is one of the best remedies for hypertension?
If your blood pressure is high, squeeze a pomegranate and pour the juice into a jar. From 2 hours after each meal, once every hour, pour 2 tablespoons of pomegranate juice into a glass of warm water, add a teaspoon of honey and drink it.
But be careful!
Be careful if you have a slow metabolism, or an under-activated thyroid! Consumption of pomegranate makes thyroid hypo-active and it’s a good medicine for hyperthyroidism, so it’s better to consume pomegranate with its antidote…
But what’s the antidote for pomegranate?
- The best antidote for pomegranate is the thin white membrane that separates the seeds. When you’re eating pomegranate, chew and swallow some of these white membranes!
- Or sprinkle some salt and cumin or fennel on the pomegranate seeds.
If you’re constipated, don’t chew the pomegranate seeds! The seeds are a strong remedy for diarrhea! Just suck the juice and swallow the seeds or spit them out.
