Apple Breakfast

How about making a delicious breakfast or snack with apples?

In a pot, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or ghee. Then add a pinch of saffron, two pinches of vanilla, two pinches of cardamom, and two pinches of rose petals. Let the spices heat gently in the oil so their aroma and properties are released.

Next, peel and chop 1–2 apples, add them to the pot, and (if you have it) pour in 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water. Add a splash of water, cover the pot, and let it steam for about 10–15 minutes until the water evaporates completely.

Now you can enjoy this cooked apple in two ways:

Method 1:

Once cooled, place it in a bowl and drizzle 2 teaspoons of tahini and 3 teaspoons of honey over it like a sauce. Add 10 soaked, peeled almonds, spread it on bread, and enjoy.

Method 2:

Blend the cooked apple with a little water until it becomes silky smooth, this creates a delicious treat called apple butter, which you can spread on bread and savor.
