COVID struck again, you fought hard, you beat it… but the lingering cough just won’t leave you alone?
Drink the following herbal tea once or twice a day for 5 to 7 days:
Place 1 teaspoon of freshly chopped ginger into a cup of boiling water and drop in a licorice tea bag (you can find licorice tea or Licorice bags at herbal stores). After it’s steeped, add a few drops of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey. Sip and enjoy.
Just keep these important notes in mind:
- This tea can raise blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, use it with caution.
- It’s a strong remedy—long-term use may have side effects. Discontinue once your symptoms improve.
Anything else?
At night before bed, rub black seed oil or ginger oil on your chest and throat. Place some cotton on top, wear a snug undershirt, and wrap a scarf around your neck to keep it warm.
