Always keep an aloe vera leaf at home! You can store a single leaf in the refrigerator for 1–2 months…but why?
Because fresh aloe vera gel miraculously accelerates the healing of wounds, burns, and sunburns.
If your skin is burned or has an open wound, cut about one centimeter of an aloe vera leaf, scoop out the gel into a small bowl, and apply it every 30 minutes to keep the area moist.
Aloe vera gel contains active compounds with astringent properties, which help stop bleeding. So if you have a wound that won’t stop bleeding, applying fresh aloe vera gel can speed up blood clotting.
Aloe Vera: An Incredible Moisturizer…!
Aloe vera gel is an excellent moisturizer, especially for dry skin?
You can either use the pure gel alone or make a hydrating mask using the following formula:
2 tablespoons grated raw cucumber+ 2 tablespoons grated raw potato+2 tablespoons fresh aloe vera gel+2 teaspoons rose water+ A few drops of fresh lemon juice
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then apply the mixture as a mask on dry skin.
Internal (Oral) Uses of Aloe Vera…!
In Ayurveda, fresh aloe vera gel is considered cooling and moisturizing.
It cools the body, and is one of the main remedies for excess body heat, skin problems, and constipation caused by heat and dryness.
Fresh aloe vera gel is also effective in reducing excessive menstrual bleeding and hot flashes during menopause.
How to Consume Aloe Vera Gel..!
Cut 2–3 centimeters from an aloe vera leaf, remove the skin, and rinse the gel well with water.
(Between the skin and the gel there is a bitter yellow layer with strong medicinal effects…make sure to wash it off.)
Now, take about 2 tablespoons of the fresh gel and put it in a glass.
Add a pinch (two fingertips) of cardamom, fennel, or black pepper powder, then pour in warm water, along with 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and 1–2 teaspoons of honey.
Stir and drink.
You can drink this 2–3 times a day, but be cautious:
If your body is naturally cold, your metabolism is slow, your blood sugar is low, you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or suffer from colitis, potassium deficiency, open gastrointestinal ulcers, chronic stomach pain, respiratory issues, or chronic kidney problems, avoid excessive consumption of fresh aloe vera gel.
