Marjariasana – Bitilasana
Had too much oily, heavy food and now your stomach feels swollen and heavy?
By practicing Marjariasana (Cat Pose) and Bitilasana (Cow Pose), you contract and expand the muscles around your abdomen. This movement increases peristaltic activity in the stomach and intestines and gently compresses the liver, pancreas, stomach, and bowels, stimulating the release of stomach acid, insulin, bile, and digestive enzymes. In other words, your digestive fire gets activated, and digestion, absorption, and elimination start working efficiently again.

What to do:
Massage your stomach in circular, clockwise motions with castor oil or black seed oil, then place a hot water bag on it.
Another tip:
Chew ½ teaspoon of carom seeds (ajwain) and ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds together like gum, then swallow them. Afterward, drink a glass of warm water. This mix also helps relieve coughs and colds.
Drink a cup of digestive herbal tea every hour during the day.
And finally:
Enjoy a bowl of digestive salad and a glass of digestive lassi .
Be full of health.
