Is your hair dry and full of split ends?
Does your hair feel thin, brittle, and constantly develop split ends? Is it falling out too?
Home Remedies for Dry Hair:
2–3 times a week, about an hour before your shower, apply one of the following mixtures to your hair. Cover your head with a shower cap or plastic wrap. After your shower, if you don’t mind, lightly oil your hair with coconut oil, olive oil, or sweet almond oil:
Castor oil + coconut oil + sweet almond oil + olive oil
1–2 beaten eggs (depending on hair volume) + 1 tablespoon olive oil
A strong decoction of mallow and rosemary
Other Tips:
Avoid washing your hair with shampoo daily.
Don’t use a hair dryer!
Massage your scalp daily with your fingers or a brush to stimulate blood circulation.
Take iron and biotin supplements.
Eat 10–20 soaked and peeled almonds daily.
Sprinkle 1 tsp sesame seeds daily over your salad.
Nutrient-Rich Foods for Hair:
Include the following in your regular diet:
Avocado, sesame seeds, tahini, soft-boiled eggs, almonds, rice bran, rice bran tea, and chicken or lamb bone broth.
Oily Hair
Oily scalp, itching, pimples, and hair loss?
If your scalp is excessively oily, itchy, develops bumps, and your hair sheds easily:
Home Remedies for Oily Hair:
2–3 times a week, an hour before your shower, apply one of the following treatments. Cover your head with a shower cap or plastic wrap. After showering, if you don’t mind, apply bitter almond oil to your hair:
Black seed oil + amla oil + bitter almond oil + myrtle oil + rose oil
Fresh aloe vera gel
2 egg whites + 1 tsp lemon juice + 1 tsp rosewater
A strong decoction of mallow, myrtle
Instead of shampoo, wash your hair once or twice a week with Neem soap.
Foods to Minimize:
Cheese, cow’s yogurt, whey, bananas, peanuts, walnuts, egg yolk, beef/veal, salted or processed meats, sour or spicy foods, and acidic fruits.
Foods to Prioritize:
Use more of the following vegetables (cooked and spiced):Spinach, parsley, basil, celery, broccoli, coriander, mung bean sprouts
Don’t forget to eat cooked apples or pearsdaily!
