It’s the middle of the day, and you’re craving a little snack, something salty and crunchy to bite on… You open a bag of chips or cheese puffs and eat every last piece. A few minutes later, your stomach feels heavy, you get acid reflux, and then comes the headache!
Chips and cheese puffs are basically potatoes or cheese fried in stale oil and loaded with salt!
Once they reach your stomach, they turn into a sticky, indigestible lump of phlegm.
For many people, eating these salty processed snacks worsens symptoms such as migraine headaches, acid reflux, high blood pressure, bloating and stomach pain, hives, eczema, and more.
Respect your digestive system and don’t feed it these tasty little poisons!
Whenever you crave something salty and crunchy, try this instead:
Take about 10 roasted almonds or pistachios, or 1–2 teaspoons of pumpkin or sunflower seeds, drizzle them with a spoon of honey, and sprinkle a little cardamom and rose powder on top. Enjoy!
Or, make your own homemade vegetable chips.
