_ Just gave birth? Is your milk supply low? Include the following foods in your diet:
-During the day, drink the following mixture 1–2 times as a snack: 10 soaked and peeled almonds or pistachios + 2 dates + 1 cup warm water + 1 teaspoon grape syrup + 1 teaspoon honey + a pinch of saffron + 2 pinches of cardamom + 1 pinch of rose petals. Blend all ingredients together.
-Daily, drink 1–2 cups of warm milk + ½ teaspoon fennel powder + a pinch of saffron + a pinch of rose petals + 1 teaspoon grape syrup + 1 teaspoon honey. (Important: always drink milk on an empty stomach. Do not consume it with other foods or when your stomach is full. If your baby has colic or skin sensitivities, consider using goat or camel milk instead of cow’s milk.)
_ With lunch and dinner, drink 1 cup of digestive lassi drink using the following formula:
-¼ cup yogurt + ¾ cup hot water + ¼ teaspoon fennel powder + ¼ teaspoon green cumin powder + ¼ teaspoon coriander seed powder + 1–2 pinches of salt. (To prepare digestive Lassi, first add a little hot water to the yogurt and stir until smooth. Then fill the cup with hot water.)
-Every 1–2 days, have a bowl of cooked rice pudding with grape syrup + ½ teaspoon fennel powder + ¼ teaspoon cinnamon + ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder + ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seed powder + ¼ teaspoon rose petals + 1 teaspoon ground almond powder.
– If you are not vegetarian, drink 1–2 cups of chicken or lamb bone broth daily. To make bone broth, add a chicken or lamb skeleton to a pot with one chopped onion, turmeric, saffron, coriander seeds, salt, and lemon juice. Cover and simmer on low heat for several hours. After cooling, remove excess fat, store in the fridge, and consume over a few days.
_Include the following foods and spices more in your diet:
-Fenugreek leaves, fenugreek seeds, fennel, green cumin, chamomile, black seed, dill, rosemary, fennel, parsley, sesame, mango, wheat sprouts, milk, soft-boiled eggs, lamb, dates, pistachios, almonds, pomegranate, oats, papaya, carrots, apricots, beetroot.
-Two hours after each meal, instead of caffeinated drinks (coffee, instant coffee, green tea, or black tea), drink the following milk-boosting and anti-bloating herbal tea once every hour:
-Combine the following herbs as whole seeds or plants (not powdered) in the ratios below. If one herb is larger than the others, break it into smaller pieces to match the size of the others:
Fennel (2) + Rosemary (1) + Chamomile (1) + Rose petals (1) + Marshmallow root (1)
-To prepare, add 1 teaspoon of this mixture to a cup of boiling water and let it steep. After steeping, add a few drops of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon honey.
_ If your milk supply is low:
-Boil 2 teaspoons of fennel seeds in a cup of water over low heat until ½ cup of water remains. After slightly cooling, compress this decoction onto your breasts.
– Crush fresh parsley and apply it as a poultice to your breasts.
