Do you frequently experience vaginal infections? Do you have itching or foul-smelling discharge from the vagina? Do you feel pain or inflammation during intercourse? Are there pimples, warts, or skin issues around the vaginal opening? Has the HPV virus found its way into your reproductive system?

The first step in resolving this issue is to pay attention to your diet. To learn what foods to avoid and what to include, refer to the posts on Reproductive Organ Health and Cleansing Diet for Reproductive Health.

Home Remedies

Wash your vaginal area 3–4 times a week using Neem soap.

Take a women’s probiotic supplement daily for two weeks. These beneficial bacteria help balance the vaginal pH and strengthen your reproductive immune system. You can find these probiotics at pharmacies.

How else can we regulate vaginal pH?

2–3 times per week, soak a tampon in fresh aloe vera gel, lie down, and insert the tampon into your vagina.

2–3 times per week, peel a medium cucumber, lie down, and gently insert it into the vagina for 5–10 minutes.

Mix the following herbs in the given volume ratios:

  • Turmeric (2)
  • Pennyroyal (2)
  • Baking soda (1/2)
  • Cumin (1)
  • Coriander seed (1)

Boil 2 tablespoons of this mix in 4 cups of water for 10 minutes. Strain the decoction and add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Pour the warm (not hot) decoction into a large basin or sitz bath and sit in it for 10–15 minutes. (You can place the basin on the floor or over a toilet seat. Sitz baths are available at pharmacies or online.)

You can also make a concentrated version of this decoction, soak a tampon in it, lie down, and insert the tampon into your vagina.
