In polluted air, your lungs need extra care. You have to treat them gently—and help cleanse them. How? Start by incorporating the following remedies into your diet:
Lung Detox Smoothie:
Blend the following ingredients together:
A handful of fresh spinach, ½ teaspoon coriander seeds, ½ teaspoon dried rose petals, ¼ teaspoon turmeric, 1 cup warm water, 1–2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and 1–2 teaspoons honey.
You can drink this smoothie as breakfast or a mid-morning snack. (Note: it has a laxative effect, so those with chronic headaches or kidney stones should avoid overconsumption.)
Turnip Extract:
Wash and chop a raw turnip. Place it in a glass jar. Add ½ teaspoon coriander seeds, ½ teaspoon dried rose petals, and 2–3 tablespoons honey. Let this mixture sit at room temperature for 12–24 hours.
After that, strain the liquid and store it in a glass container. Take 1–2 tablespoons daily. This extract helps cleanse the lungs, reduces drowsiness, and sharpens mental clarity. (Note: those with chronic headaches or insomnia should avoid overuse.)
Lung Cleansing Tea:
In a cup of boiling water, add a few fresh basil leaves, ½ teaspoon cloves, and ¼ teaspoon dried rose petals. Let steep. Before drinking, add a few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon honey.
Drink this tea 2–3 times a day.
Stay full of health…
