Do you frequently get cold sores?

Did you know that lemon balm is antiviral and highly effective in treating cold sores? Whenever one appears, drink a combination herbal tea of lemon balm and coriander seeds (with the lemon balm being three times the amount of coriander seeds), 3–4 times a day.
Note: Lemon balm can raise blood pressure, so if you have hypertension, consume this tea with caution.

Can’t access any of these?
Make a strong decoction of thyme and mint (in equal parts). Every hour, soak a cotton pad in the decoction and dab it on the sore.

What else?

– Drink echinacea tea or take echinacea herbal supplements.

Another remedy:
Mix the following herbs in powdered form using the proportions listed:

Turmeric (2 parts) + Pennyroyal or Thyme (1 part) + powdered neem or Coriander seed (1 part)

Twice daily, combine half a teaspoon of this mix with warm water to make a soft paste. Apply it around the cold sore, leave it on for 15–20 minutes, then rinse it off and apply fresh aloe vera gel directly to the sore.
