Excessive sweating and bad body odor

With all this bad body odor in summer, what should I do? I just took a shower… so why did this nasty smell come back again?!

Did you know sweating is one of the body’s ways to expel toxins and bad phlegm? When your sweat is excessive and smells bad, your body is warning you that a lot of bad phlegm and toxins have accumulated inside and need to be released…

Step one: Take a thorough look at your nutrition principles, try to eat healthier (check the highlighted stories titled “Where do I start?”).

Step two: Be kind to your body and treat it to a cleansing diet. How? Go to the highlighted stories titled “Cleansing Diet” or search for “cleansing diet” on the Ananda website (www.ananda.ir). Choose one of the diets (especially the liver cleansing diet), put laziness aside, and make your body and soul the priority of your life for a few days.

Step three: Remove the following foods from your diet (these foods intensify the strong smell of sweat):

Cheese, yogurt, cream, ice cream, beef and veal, pork, sausage and cold cuts (fast food), vinegar and pickles, puffed snacks and excessively salty or sour snacks, chocolate, fennel (leaf and seed), dill, spicy spices, curry, shallot, raw garlic and onion, pickles made with vinegar (in large amounts).

Try to run for 20 minutes daily or do cardio exercise to sweat completely (see the article “Losing weight with 20 minutes of running daily”), or sit once or twice a week in a warm medicinal bath with powdered ginger and baking soda (weight loss 1). With daily sweating, much of these toxins are expelled through your skin, and gradually your sweat smell decreases.

Consume the following anti-sweat herbal tea 4-5 times daily:

Mix the following herbs as whole plants (not powder) in specified ratios:

Fennel or chamomile (1) + sage (2) + rose petals (1)

Put one teaspoon of this mix into a cup of boiling water, let it steep, and before drinking add a few drops of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey each time.

Wash your armpits and other areas with excessive sweating daily with seven-herb extract soap. You can buy this soap from herbal shops. If you live outside Iran, use Neem soap.

Mix the following herbs as powders in specified ratios:

Rosemary (1) + neem (2) + mallow or coriander seed (1)

Two to three times a week, mix one teaspoon of this powder with a little warm water to make a loose paste and apply it to your armpits, leave it for about 15-20 minutes (this may cause some burning at first, but the burning sensation will gradually lessen). After washing off the paste, apply fresh aloe vera gel to your armpits.

Be full of health!
